Roger Day, an award-winning musician will perform a
FREE family show at six Long Island libraries from February 16 - 19. Much of these fun events will feature material from Roger's new CD,
Why Does Gray Matter? .. And Other Brainy Songs for Kids!, which introduces children to the wonders of the human brain in an entertaining way.

- Port Washington Library, 1 Library Drive, Port Washington, NY - Tuesday, February 16 at 2:30 a.m.
- Roslyn's Bryant Library, 2 Paper Mill Road, Roslyn, NY - Wednesday, February 17 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
- Merrick Library, 2279 Merrick Avenue, Merrick, NY - Thursday, February 18 at 11 a.m.
- Plainview Old Bethpage Library, 999 East Old Country Road, Plainview, NY- Thursday,February February 18 at 3 p.m. and

In the spirit of Bill Nye, the Science Guy, Roger Day's
Shake Up Your Brain! show will features song like "Brain Food -- Eat It Up!", which mentions good foods for brain health, sung to a B-52s-inspired song, and much more.

As part of its 90th Anniversary Celebration,
The Heckscher Museum of Art, 2 Prime Avenue, Huntington, NY, is now accepting entries for its inaugural
Long Island Biennial featuring artworks by Long Island professional artists.
In collaboration with the
museum,
Cinema Arts Centre is accepting video and film entries for the
biennial. Professional artists over the age of 18 who are residents of Nassau or
Suffolk Counties may submit entries for the biennial until
March 31, 2010.
This juried exhibition, the first of its kind on Long Island,
will run from
July 31 to September 26, 2010 at The Heckscher Museum of Art.

Two-time Grammy Award-winner and Long Island resident
LL Cool J has teamed up with Fusion Wireless to auction off a BlackBerry Bold 9700 signed by the Bay Shore-born musician with a silver marker.
From
February 5 to
February 12, 2010, the BlackBerry will be up on eBay. The auction winner will receive the
autographed BlackBerry, a photo of LL Cool J signing the
device and a $100 gift certificate to Fusion Wireless.
One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the American Red Cross to support the victims of the
