First Annual 5K to Support Nissequogue River State Park

If you like to run and you'd like to help support one of our parks, come to the First Annual 5K Sunset Run/Walk in the Park and 1K Summer Fun Run for Kids (for ages 12 and under), this Saturday, May 30th. Check-in is from 4 to 5:30 p.m. The Fun Run is at 5:30 p.m. and the 5K Run/Walk starts at 6 p.m. at Nissequogue River State Park, 799 St. Johnland Road, Kings Park. There will be raffles, prizes and refreshments for sale. All proceeds will help restore the front entrance of Nissequogue River State Park's administration building.

Online registration ends tomorrow, Wednesday, May 27th (sorry.... I just got this info!) at the Nissequogue River Foundation. You can register on the day of the run starting at 4:30.
