To celebrate Independence Day, The Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary & Audubon Center, 134 Cove Road, Oyster Bay, will present a program on Sunday, July 5, from 1 to 2 p.m. for all ages. Learn about native animals, and find out what our forefathers thought about red-tailed hawks, great horned owls, and other native creatures. Fee: $3 for non-members, free for members.

For more information, call (516) 922-3200 or go to the Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary & Audubon Society.
