Midsummer Night at Old Westbury Gardens - New Date

Old Westbury Gardens has had to postpone its Midsummer Night event twice because of thunderstorms. But don't despair. They're going to hold this event on Saturday, July 18 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Lanterns will flicker in the night, and music and dancing inspired by Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream will be performed in various areas of the grounds throughout the evening. Bring a blanket and a picnic basket and relax on the grounds.

Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the gate. Ages 18 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Or treat yourself to a gourmet dinner for $75 on the South Terrace of Westbury House. This special gourmet meal celebrates this year's 50th anniversary of the gardens.
