Adelphi University Listed as a "Best Buy"

The 2010 Fiske Guide to Colleges is out now, and for the fourth consecutive year, it lists Adelphi University as one of 44 "Best Buys" in higher education. According to the publisher, "Best Buys" are chosen by considering the institutions' academic ratings, pricing and student quality of life on campus.

Adelphi University, chartered in 1896, became the first institution of higher learning for the liberal arts and sciences on Long Island. The university boasts a 75-acre campus in Garden City. Last year, Adelphi added a performing arts, recreation and sports complex.
