There's a video that's been going viral since it came out a few days ago. Congressman Peter King spoke out against the media's coverage of the death of Michael Jackson, who King described as a "pervert" and "child molester." King said the media should spend more time focusing on others, including the men and women who are serving our country.

If he feels this way about Michael Jackson, then he should feel the exact same way about Elvis Pressley and his pedophilia. Is anyone saying a 14 year Priscilla with a 24 year old Elvis is a NO NO!?!? Why is he held up as such a “great” American? He was the original R. Kelly!!! Peter King really need to take his feelings to the group of degenerate low lives that he works with…the Congress and the Senate. Now there’s a place where he will find all types of perverts, pedolphiles, rapists, fraudsters, con-artists and criminals of all sort.
I’ve been ranting about this all morning, and now someone with a voice has finally said what I feel. The memorial should be covered on E! but not all major networks and news networks….people, this is not a State Funeral. Unfortunately this will be the end of Mr. King’s political career….musn’t criticize an African-American…..only Caucasian Americans…..otherwise you are a racist. The guy was a very creepy deviate.
Congressman Peter King is very erratic with his statement,and that’s a shame watching him speaking on CNN shows anger plus hatred.Maybe he need to focus on his legacy and glory surpassing MJ’s for future.Congressman how can you do that or made that comment?….Personally, you betrayed your people and that’ll cause you big time on re-election season.Dang!!! you can be a RACIST but keep off national television will you.
If Peter King as a congressman believes in our justice system as he should, Michael Jackson was acquitted on child molestation charges. Clearly Michael had issues with his upbringing by his father and that caused him great pain and anguish throughout his life. I think it is highly disrespectful to speak ill of the dead before they are buried. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but at least out of respect for his children, mother and other family members wait until after his funeral

Congressman King is just plain Jealous! He will NEVER obtain the fame that Micheal Jackson had!!Micheal was the greatest entertainer EVER!! Micheal made us FORGET all our troubles for a brief time while he preformed. This Knig want us to just focus on the troubles of the world!! who the heck is Peter King? Never heard of him. Connie is right. He’s just jealous cos he doesn’t get as much attentention as Michael (never will even though he tries with this bs). He only wishes he’s well known and praised (as good as) in his industry as Michael is in his. Congressman King is a very small person who is jealous that Michael Jackson made an impact on the World. You can tell what an impact he made because his death is being handled like a Head of State. He’s just a sad individual, his thinking is warped and that reflects in his comments. I just hopes he watches the coverage and weeps knowing how small he is. He doesn’t understand what greatness is. This is directed both to Dani and Kae. It is quite evident that you haven’t read that Micheal Jacksons was acquited on all counts of any child molestation in the criminal trial. This parent and child filed a lawsuit with JC Penney and also making false accusations was proven wrong and to be just money hungry in that case. There are money grabbing people who will go to great lengths to get money–even lie abot being molested. Micheal was acquited in the criminal trial hands down. Micheal settled the civil suit because he stated he couldn’t take any more and it wasn’t worth it to him any more. IN THIS COUNTRY YOU ARE INNOCENT UNITL PROVEN GUILTY!!

It is for reasons mentioned in my previous comment not only that Michael Jackson was given a public funeral at the Staples Center, but also that it was *TELECAST LIVE*!(CAPS intended) He was accused of pedophilia; I get the point! Does that overshadow his humanitarianism as well as his musical talent? No! So Elvis’ funeral wasn’t broadcast live from beginning to end, but Michael Jackson’s *was*. SO WHAT!(Again, CAPS intended) Both were human! What!, Congressman King never made mistakes? It’s obvious that he was one of the greatest entertainers if not the greatest entertainer ever–or his memorial service wouldn’t have been on live TV at all.
eh kae, get a dose of real perspective. michael touched billions of people on a personal level world wide. his lifetime achievements and contributions should be recognized for just what it is. that’s why you see people billions around the world honoring him. we all are humans and cursed with eating the apple from the day..blame adam for that sht in the eden days and i’m sure michael as a human (your reference to god in all this) got some demons to deal with (we all do and you know it) but his contributions far outweigh taking from humanity (except for the billions he made from his talentz). that’s the thing i’m mad about. he’ll still take billions from us after he’s gone..like presley. now that’s talent beyond. eh, why can’t I make that. aw sht. now i’m mad at michael too…why can’t I be a king of something!!! The only reporter that I have seen on MJ’s side has been Geraldo, he has stated many times that MJ was FRAMED!

Michael Jackson served the country and the world. He’s done more for people than that hateful rat Peter King has ever done for anyone. In his lifetime, he’ll never be able to catch up to what MJ did to help so many. We get locked into folks having to put on some sort of uniform in order to be of service. Well, I am part of a military family and we know that’s bs. It’s flag waving for votes. I call it fake patriotism. Michael Jackson was an American, and it’s obvious King cared nothing about this fellow American. So, he is not a patriot. King is a phony. MJ wasn’t running for office and yet he worked himself to death trying to give aid to as many as he could.
He was found NOT GUILTY on molestation charges. Period. I find that we have so many statues, memorials, etc. for men, the founding fathers, etc. who actually did many horrible things Jackson did not. For example, Thomas Jefferson has schools named after him, he’s on the 2 dollar bill, the nickel, has a D.C. momument, his home/plantation, Monticello is a museum, and he’s praised as if he were almost a Jesus. No one talks about him molesting a child, a slave named, Sally Hemings and actually fathering children with this girl. In addition to that, MJ never owned slaved, beat anyone, whipped or had someone whipped, sold folks, etc. Something really stinks with King and now with some folks in Congress, too. And you know what’s funny? We go around the world telling everyone about how great the USA is, and we are, but in many instances when we have a chance to lead by example these days, we fail. Countries like Ukraine are trying to rename towns in honor of Jackson, and if they don’t, the people’s government are atleast open to listening about the proposal to do so. The US Congress is just plain flat out saying, “NO” to a Jackson resolution. Bravo Ukraine! Well I don’t agree it should have only been shown on E! For your information there are military personnel and their families who liked michael jackson or grew up on his music that wanted to see it. In our case, we are serving an overseas tour. We have American TV sure, but we don’t get every single channel as in the states. I have talked to other people on our base who either watched reruns of it or even stayed up to watch it live… for us it didn’t start til after 1am our time.
Don’t get it twisted, I support our military 100% , but do understand that for people like us on this base, all we see is miltary day in and day out. We have military tv stations that are 24 hours of military everything, stars and stripes newspaper, navy times…this is our daily life we hear about it ALL THE TIME so for us sometimes it’s nice to hear about something other than military things. Through the media is our only connection really back to home.
What goes around comes around. Maybne these comments will end up costing Mr King his career. We have no justice in the way politians like him think. To be accused of something does not make you guilty.

Jackson in some ways is like Obama. He united people from many backgrounds and races and broke down the race barrier for many. Addin up people all around the world the total number of white people who like him would be more than the total number of black people (you mostly see white people at his concerts in america and europe). In breaking down the barriers you could say Jackson in some part paved the way for Obama today.
