Master Class with Cellist Pedro de Alcantara in Huntington

The Long Island Violin Shop, 8 Elm Street, Huntington (one block south of Main Street off New York Avenue) will present a master class with cellist Pedro de Alcantara on Saturday, October 17 at 6:30 p.m.

Combining his musical artistry and mastery of the Alexander Technique, Pedro de Alcantara will lead a class entitled, Your Sound, Your Self - How to produce a big, beautiful sound without muscular effort.

The class is open to performers, teachers, students and all fans of music. Tickets for the event are $40 for performers --limited to 3 participants-- and $25 in advance for listeners/$30 at the door.
