TripAdvisor, an online travel site, has announced their list of North America's Top 10 Wine Destinations. Long Island's North Fork is on the list, along with California's Napa and Sonoma Valleys and others.Once home to expansive potato farms, the East End now boasts thousands of acres of vineyards and more than 30 wineries. Among the many free things to do on Long Island, the East End's wineries are open year-round and many feature wine tastings for free, as well as free entertainment to go along with their fine wines.
