"A Band Called Sam" at BNL on November 14

Named in honor of the late Sam "Bluzman" Taylor, "A Band Called Sam" will perform at Brookhaven National Laboratory's Berkner auditorium on Saturday, November 14th at 8 p.m. The event is sponsored by the BNL Music Club and is open to the public. All visitors 16 and older must bring a photo I.D.
Sam "Bluzman" Taylor was a popular blues songwriter and singer. He died this year at the age of 74. Although originally from Arizona, he lived on Long Island for the last 10 years of his life.
"A Band Called Sam" boasts skilled musicians including Sandra Taylor, "Bluzman's" daughter, and LAW, his grandson, as well as some of his former band mates. They pay tribute to the late musician by performing his songs. To view a video of the band, go to "A Band Called Sam".
