Join Nassau County Executive Thomas R. Suozzi for a panel discussion on immigration policies that are working for Long Islanders. Getting It Right for Long Island: Immigration in the 21st Century will feature panelists Roger Clayman, executive director, Long Island Federation of Labor; Matthew T. Crosson, Esq.: president, Long Island Association; Chung-Wha Hong, executive director, New York Immigration Coalition and Sister Margaret Smyth, director, Hispanic Apostolate of the North Fork. The panel moderator is Suman Raghunathan, immigration policy analyst. The panel will discuss how immigration impacts Long Islanders and what should be done to improve the quality of life for the island.

The forum will be held this Tuesday, November 17, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Marriott Hotel, 1350 Old Walt Whitman Road, Melville, NY. Admission is free, but space is limited. Please RSVP by email to info@longislandwins.com or by phone at (516) 304-5642.
