If you're a golfer who can brave the cold, Nassau County has some great golf courses for you despite the winter season. There are four courses and three driving ranges that remain open during the winter months, weather permitting. All of the courses open at 7 a.m. during the winter season.
Eisenhower Park's 18-hole Blue and White courses are open seven days a week. Their Red course closed on December 8th. The Blue and White courses were both designed by Robert Trent Jones. For info on golf at Eisenhower Park, please call (516) 572-0327 or -(516) 572-0328.

Hurry up if you want to play the nine-hole courses at Bay Park in East Rockaway or Christopher Morley Park in Roslyn-North Hills. Both of them close for the season on December 20th.
