Several Long Island companies are among the 40 companies recently named the Best Companies to Work for in New York 2010. The New York State Society for Human Resource Management and Best Companies Group formed a partnership to start an awards program in NYS in 2007. The 2010 program is the third consecutive year of these awards. All 40 companies were recognized at an awards dinner at the Albany Marriott on April 21, 2010.
The following Long Island companies were among the top 40:
- Edward Jones, Long Beach
- Jefferson's Ferry Lifecare Community, South Setauket
- BRANY - Biomedical Research Alliance of New York, Lake Success
- Peconic Landing, Greenport and
- Polar, Lake Success.
