The well-known Serafina Restaurant Group, with its popular Serafina restaurant in Manhattan, has now launched in the Hamptons for the 2010 season. Owners Vittoria Assaf and Fabio Granato have transformed the former Matto at 104 North Main Street in East Hampton into Serafina East Hampton, which opened in late May 2010.
With a family-friendly vibe, the restaurant features Northern Italian cuisine including savory pastas and risottos made from fresh, local produce. Their thin crust pizzas come in more than 24 varieties, which includes four variations on the traditional Pizza Margherita. Their Portofino Pizza combines tomatoes, mozzarella, homemade pesto and pine nuts, while the Al Caviale features boiled sliced potatoes, crème fraiche and caviar.
Choose from chicken, fish, filet mignon and more for your main course. There's also a wide range of appetizers, salads and homemade desserts to complement your meal. And of course, Serafina offers cocktails and an extensive wine list.
