As of 3:30 p.m. today, Monday, October 29, 2012, LIPA (Long Island Power Authority) has reported over 141,000 have experienced electric outages on the Island.
Again, if your electricity is out or if there are downed wires that you need to report, just go to https://www.liaccount.com/outage/Report and let LIPA know your whereabouts and the nature of the problem. You can also call LIPA at (800) 490-0075 or (631) 755-6900.
