In order to help those who are in need of food in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the Red Cross has opened three Mobile Meals Distribution Centers which are open for lunch at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. for dinner. In addition, Red Cross Comfort kits are also available at each location.
The centers are located as follows:
- Mastic Fire House, 180 Mastic Road, Mastic, NY
- Suffolk County Community College/Riverhead Campus, 121 Speonk-Riverhead Road, Riverhead, NY
- H. Lee Dennison Building, 100 Veterans Memorial Highway, Hauppauge, NY
