Town of Brookhaven News After Hurricane Sandy

The Town of Brookhaven has announced that it will have extended hours for residential drop-off of storm-related debris. The Town Landfill and Manorville Composting Site will be open tomorrow, Saturday, Novem er 3 and Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for residents to droop off storm-related brush and tree debris, and the town will waive the fee for these drop-offs. However, the town is not waiving the fee for materials transported in commercial vehicles.

The Town Landfill is located at at 350 Horseblock Road, Yaphank, NY and the Manorville Composting Site is at the end of Papermill Road, Manorville, NY. For more information, please call 451-TOWN or visit www.brookhaven.org.
