The Town of Oyster Bay has organized a clothing drive to help residents who have been adversely impacted by Hurricane Sandy. The two-day drive started on Saturday, November 3 and will continue from the hours of noon and 5 pl.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at the following three locations:
- Marjorie R. Post Community Park, at the corner of Unqua and Merrick Road, Massapequa, NY,
- Syosset-Woodbury Community Park, Jericho Turnpike, Woodbury, NY and
- Oyster Bay Community Center, Church Street (down the block from Town Hall North), Oyster Bay, NY
Residents are urged to donate items such as clothing for children and adults, shoes, blankets, coats and children's toys. These will be distributed to residents.
