A friend of mine recommends the following website to find gas stations in your area that are open, and it includes estimated wait times. She called it "accurate and helpful." The site is www.gasbuddy.com/sandy.
In the past, I had mentioned the site in my article, Save Money on Gas on Long Island, NY, which mentioned a good way to cut costs on gas, but I didn't realize until my friend mentioned it that they now have a page just for info on gas stations in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
