On Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 6:30 p.m., Amarelle Restaurant in Wading River, NY, together with Leean Lavin, author of The Hamptons and Long Island Homegrown Cookbook, is hosting a reading, tasting and book signing event to benefit Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

Chef Lia Fallon of Amarelle will prepare her recipes which were featured in the cookbook, and she and Leeann will sign copies. There will be a raffle to benefit relief efforts for Hurricane Sandy victims, and prizes include a bottle of local wine, an Andrews Farm harvest vegetable basket, and a signed copy of The Hamptons and Long Island Homegrown Cookbook. Twenty-five percent of the evening's book sales will also be set aside to benefit relief efforts.

The Hamptons and Long Island Homegrown Cookbook is a collection of recipes created by Long Island's homegrown chefs and the farmers they work with to bring the fresh, locally grown, sustainable foods to their menus.

Amarelle is located at 2028 North Country Road, in Wading River, NY and their phone number is (631) 886-2242.
