Panera Bread Accepting Donations To Help Sandy Victims and More on Long Island, NY

To help those who are in need on Long Island, NY, including those who were badly affected by Hurricane Sandy, Panera Bread bakery-cafes has launched its annual Turkey & Trimmings Collection Campaign and will be accepting donations of non-perishable food items, frozen turkeys and supermarket turkey coupons on behalf of Island Harvest, LI's largest hunger relief organization. Monetary donations of $1 or more can also be made at the cafe's registers. Donations will be accepted through Monday, December 24, 2012, from the hours of 7 a.m. through 9 p.m. at any of its 22 bakery-cafes in Nassau and Suffolk counties.
