This Sunday, December 2, 2012, at 7 p.m., there will be a benefit concert for the Rockaways' victims of Hurricane Sandy. Admission is $20 per person. Bert Elliot and Friends are presenting the concert at KJ Farrells, 242 Pettit Avenue in Bellmore, NY. Yankees great Bernie Williams will be joining Bert on stage to perform a few tunes.
Here's the lineup of the evening's bands:
- 7 to 7:15 p.m. - Paul Chiarello
- 7:30 to 8;15 p.m. - The Goodfellas
- 8:30 to 9 p.m. - Rockaway Aids
- 9:15 to 10:15 p.m. - The Bert Elliot Band. Special guests with Bert: Laura K, Benny Vargas and Craig Holiday Haynes
- 10:30 to 11 - Raffles - guest speaker
- 11 to 11:30 p.m. - Pops Rizzo & the Bra-jole Brothers
- 11:45 to 12:15 - 3 Sheet To The Wind
