Monday, January 21, 2013 is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day If you need to use the railroad, note that the LIRR (Long Island Rail Road) will be operating on a holiday schedule and there will be an additional 38 eastbound and westbound trains to and from Penn Station on a number of branches.
