Canon U.S.A.. has opened its new Americas headquarters in Melville, NY. The 500+ foot long, almost 300 feet wide building, One Canon Park, was designed to meet LEED (R) Certified Gold building certification. This is a nationally accepted standard for the design, construction and operation of "green" buildings.
The 52-acre grounds come replete with lots of green space and a walking trail, as well as two retention ponds. The building features five stories and a lower level.
The new building on Long Island, NY is one of three Canon worldwide headquarters, the others being located in London, England and in Japan.
