Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park, 1395 Planting Fields Road, Oyster Bay, NY is hosting its Camellia House Weekend this Saturday and Sunday, February 23 and 24, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Camellia House and the Coe Hall Mansion. Note: there is no parking fee this weekend.
There are both free events, and those with an entrance fee. Here's the lineup:

All Day: How to paint camellias - watercolor demonstrations by Roberta Erlagen and
Camellia plant sale provided by Martin Viette Nurseries
10 a.m.: Camellia Greenhouse and Coe Hall open
11 a.m.: Lecture: Vincent Simeone talks about camellias
12 p.m: Saxophone Duo performance by Chamber Player International
1 p.m.: Lecture: Vincent Simeone talks about camellias
2 p.m.: Saxophonist Duo by Chamber Players International
3 p.m.: Lecture: Vincent Simeone talks about camellias
3:30 p.m. Saxophonist Duo performance by Chamber Players International
4 p.m.: Camellia House closes
Coe Hall Mansion - weekend activities
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. - $10 entrance fee. Members and children enter for free.
Enjoy ukulele music with Josh Kekoa Cho. There will be children's crafts, a Mad Hatter's Tea Party, bing for the kids and The Great Gatsby movie shown in the Buffalo Room. The Mad Hatter's Tea Party & Storytelling is with Jonathan Kruk and Andrea Sadler as the Queen of Hearts.
12 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.: Magic of Robert Austin
11 a.m. to 4 p.m.: The Gift Shop and Periwinkles Cafe at the Hay Barn/Visitors Center will be open
