Linda Tagliaferro has been a freelance writer for 24 years. Her articles have appeared in publications ranging from Coastal Living to Executive Traveler. She's the author of nine books for adults, including a Complete Idiot's Guide and New York - Yesterday & Today. She's also the author of 34 nonfiction books for children and speaks at schools and libraries about the topics of her books. She is a member of the Authors Guild and the Editorial Freelancers Association.
Linda Tagliaferro holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts from Hunter College, New York. She did her graduate work at Temple University's Tyler School of Art in Rome, Italy and also at the Villa Schifanoia Graduate School of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy. Linda later traveled the world, living and studying in Denmark and Indonesia. After returning to New York, she took a number of writing classes at The New School in Manhattan.
