Dawn Rosenberg McKay has lived on Long Island full-time since 1992. Previously she lived on Long Island while attending Hofstra University from 1984 to 1988.
Experience:
Dawn has been the About.com Guide to Long Island since June 2001 and has also been the About.com Guide to Career Planning since 1997. She was a reference librarian at Hempstead Public Library from 1990 to 2000. As a librarian, Dawn was a resource for patrons who needed information about various aspects of living on Long Island. She was called upon to help people negotiate the maze of Long Island's complicated local governments, assist people with their job search needs and help people who were new to Long Island. Dawn is the author of several books about career-related issues.
Education:
Dawn received her Bachelor's degree from Hofstra University and her Master's degree from Queens College School of Library and Information Studies.
