How to Get to Amagansett

By Car: Amagansett is just over 106 miles from midtown Manhattan. If there isn't any traffic, the drive will take about two and a quarter hours. Plan for traffic on weekends and holidays.

Public Transportation

• Long Island Railroad from Manhattan: Take the LIRR from Penn Station, located at W. 34th Street and Seventh Avenue to Amagansett (Amagansett LIRR Schedule). Hamptons Reserve Service is available in the Summer.
• From JFK International Airport: Take the AirTrain to the LIRR Jamaica Station and get a train to Amagansett.
• LaGuardia International Airport or Macarthur Airport: Take a taxi to Amagansett.
• Hampton Jitney: The Hampton Jitney provides motorcoach bus service from Manhattan, Queens (convenenient to JFK and LaGuardia), and Islip (near MacArthur Airport).
