Internationally famed for his mobiles and stabiles, American artist Alexander Calder produced a huge body of work in his lifetime. At the Nassau County Museum of Art, Sandy's Butterfly illustrates the sculptor's love for solid, colorful geometric shapes enhanced by curved, flat pieces of metal.
