Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and their brood rented an enormous estate in Lloyd Neck in 2009 while Ms. Jolie was working on a movie. They were even seen shopping at a supermarket in nearby Oyster Bay. Their move put the area into the spotlight for many who had never heard of it before. What's the neighborhood like? Tour this lovely North Shore peninsula. You'll need at least a half-day to see the sights, and more if you want to spend time walking through the outdoor attractions. Starting out in the Village of Huntington, you'll drive down Main Street (25A) and then turn into West Neck Road. You'll see pristine, open landscapes as you cross Lloyd Harbor.
