There are a number of trails, long and short, meandering throughout Target Rock Wildlife Refuge. If you want to stroll along the rocky beach, take the three-quarter mile trail down to the half-mile of sandy shoreline. Harbor seals sometimes show up here, and birds like piping plovers and common terns are frequent visitors to the beach.
