Why My Town Is The Best Place To Live On Long Island
As others have mentioned, Floral Park is very conveniently located and a family-friendly town. It's a safe neighborhood with nice amenities within reach and I hear the schools are great.
How Did You Find Out About This Town?
We've had friends and relatives living in Floral Park, but not the Village of Floral Park. It wasn't until we were house-shopping that we discovered the stores on Tulip, the recreation center, and other parts of the neighborhood that give it its unique character. We were looking for a place with easy access to the city but away from the congestion -- Floral Park fit the bill.
Advice
- If we had to do it over again, I would have looked for a place in the Queens side of Floral Park or outside of the Village, because taxes here are ridiculous.
