What was your best or worst present?
My mother in law gave me a "dress." She said that she knew we liked to go dancing so she made this for me. It was black with really poofy sleeves. I saw that the sleeves had zippers, and when you unzipped them, the sleeves got bigger and had electric blue fabric. Words can't describe how ugly this dress was...
What was your reaction?
I was trying so hard not to laugh or cry. I basically was choking. The color drained from my husband's face as he willed me to keep it together. I managed to mostly hold it together. We eventually told her how horrible it was. My husband begged me to try it on.
Lessons Learned
- Don't open gifts in front of your mother in law.
- Don't tell her you like to go dancing.
