Why we got married on Long Island
We chose to get married on Long Island because it was close to Queens (where we both grew up) and there were so many Catering Halls to choose from with extensive grounds for pictures. We got married at Crest Hollow Country Club which is absolutely gorgeous and I can say that my wedding day was the happiest day of my life.
How I chose my Long Island wedding venue
We looked at about 10 halls before making our decision. I loved the lighted trees as we came down the driveway, the lobby was beautiful, and we had our cocktail hour by the pool and the food was great. It was everything we were looking for.
Tips and Tricks
- I wouldn't use Men's Warehouse for the tuxedos. They forgot to order my husband's tux and didn't realize it until the day before our wedding even though my husband called 4 times to make sure that all the groomsmen had been measured.
